Your children’s safety is of paramount importance to us. Following parental concerns of a white van in the area I have contacted both the local police and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development who have advised that police have contacted the owners of the van and that there is no need for concern. Kororoit Creek Primary School will become the ‘heart’ of the Burnside Heights Community as it establishes its state of the art facilities in partnership with Axiom Education, the YMCA and the Melton City Council to provide an innovative centre of excellence that encourages active participation with the local community. Whilst the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is the lead partner, the YMCA will offer both long and short day care and an aquatic centre, with the Melton Shire Council providing a community health centre, kindergarten and community space.
